Dead Bayou does not ask for your name, email or an account. Your game progress stays on your phone. The game shows ads from Google AdMob, and Google may collect some device information to show and measure those ads.
Who we are
Dead Bayou ("the game") is made by Mint Mark. This policy explains what information the game uses and why.
Information the game keeps
Your survivors, current run, unlocks, records and settings are saved on your device only. We do not send this progress to our own servers, and we cannot see it. Deleting the app deletes this data.
Ads and Google AdMob
Dead Bayou is free because it shows ads. Ads are provided by Google AdMob. When an ad loads, Google may collect and process information such as:
- your device's advertising identifier (IDFA), only if you allow tracking
- IP address and approximate location based on it
- device type, operating system version and app version
- how you interact with ads, such as views and taps
- crash and performance information about ad loading
Google uses this information to deliver ads, limit how often you see the same ad, measure ad results and prevent fraud. Google's use of this data is covered by Google's Privacy Policy. You can learn more at How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
Your choices about tracking
The first time you open the game, iOS asks whether Dead Bayou may track your activity across other companies' apps and websites. If you choose "Ask App Not to Track", the advertising identifier is not shared and you will see less personalized ads. You can change this at any time in Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the game also shows a consent form from Google before personalized ads are used. You can choose not to consent and still play.
In-app purchases
If purchases are offered in the game, they are handled by Apple through the App Store. We never receive your payment details.
Children
Dead Bayou is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
